ABOUT THE ROLE As a Clinical Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the excellent standard of evidence-based, person-centered care;
Demonstrating professional practice as evidenced by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics, and legislative requirements;
Fostering a learning environment through clinical presentations to support the nursing team with their professional development and maintaining their own professional learning and continuous professional; development, and providing supervision and teaching to peers, ENs, graduates, and students.
Acting as a valued member of the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices;
Collaborating with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the health care continuum;
Maintaining professional and constructive working relationships with the VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high-quality patient outcomes.REQUIREMENTS
Current AHPRA registration;
At least 2 years of Emergency Registered Nurse experience;
Post Graduate Critical Care certificate (or working towards);
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
Demonstrate the ability to show initiative and work within a team environment;
Excellent communication skills;
Passion for teaching, educating, and up-skilling staff in cardiac operating theatres;

The hospital is a comprehensive acute private hospital integrating clinical practice with teaching and research to provide patient-centered and personalized care. The Hospital includes 147 beds across 5 Wards providing Medical, Surgical, and Rehabilitation Services, a combined Intensive Care and Coronary Care Unit, an Emergency Department, 7 Operating Suites, a Catheter Laboratory, Day of Surgery Admission, and Day Infusion/Oncology Services.
