Great opportunity for a Project Records Officer to be part of an established business transformation and technology modernisation program for a well-known government corporation based in Parramatta.
This role will focus on providing productive and effective records and document management services including record archiving, file creation, information and document classification, enabling collaboration on documents, distribution and filing.
This is for an initial contract of 6 months
Hourly rate is $46 - $49.22 + super
Hybrid work set up - Parramatta and WFH
**About the Job**:
- Deliver all records management services including archiving, sentencing, file classification, document destruction and where required assistance to training of staff to enable compliance with legislative requirements
- Manage records disposal, transfer of records to and off-site storage and the coordination of day to day business processes with the Government Records Repository and other Government approved record storage facilities is done efficiently, accurately and safely
- Ensure timely and efficient information, direction and assistance is provided to staff in their use of the approved records management systems and processes
- Maintain accurate corporate records and information, inputting and extracting information from EDRMS and other sources.
**About You**:
- Experience in records management practice and procedures with large and complex organisations
- Previous government background/experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience in the use of records management software such as TRIM, HP-RM8 or HP-CM9
- Effective communication skills with a commitment to client service.
- Demonstrated commitment to accuracy and attention to detail and experience in handling confidential information
- Knowledge of legislation and standards relating to information and records management
- Record Keeping Course
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
