Oakey State School is seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our supportive school community.
This is an important role that contributes directly to creating a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our students, staff and families.
This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.88FTE), 67 hours per fortnight.

About the Role
As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the school, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. Reporting to the Principal or their delegate, you will work collaboratively with staff to support the school's daily operations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, offices, toilet facilities, and shared spaces.
* Maintaining outdoor areas, including sweeping, hosing, and rubbish disposal.
* Performing floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, and polishing.
* Ensuring equipment is cleaned and maintained for daily use.
* Reporting safety, security, or maintenance concerns to the Principal or Business Manager.
