Head of E-commerce Finance (Global Marketplace & Fintech)

The Role
We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of E-commerce Finance to lead our global fintech business unit. You will own the end-to-end fintech strategy, including payments, escrow, lending, trade credit, supply chain finance, insurance, and cross-border settlement.
You’ll work closely with the CEO and executive team to ensure financial services become a core engine of growth for our platform.
What You’ll Do
- Define and execute the global fintech strategy aligned with our growth roadmap (SaaS → Marketplace → Fintech ecosystem).
- Build and scale a high-performing fintech team (product, engineering, risk, compliance, operations).
- Lead design, launch, and scaling of financial products including payments, lending, and embedded insurance.
- Manage partnerships with banks, PSPs, BNPL providers, and insurers across multiple regions.
- Ensure global regulatory and compliance adherence (PSD2, MTL, ACL/AFSL, AML/KYC).
- Drive revenue, product adoption, and operational excellence across our financial services offerings.
Who You Are
- 10+ years in fintech, payments, or marketplace financial services, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience scaling payments, lending, or insurance products on e-commerce or cross-border platforms.
- Deep knowledge of global payment systems, credit frameworks, and embedded finance.
- Experience navigating multi-region regulations (EU, US, AU) and compliance frameworks.
- Strong commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills, comfortable with C-suite, regulators, and strategic partners.
