Job Description
They key duties and responsibilities for the Technical Sales Consultant role are:
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with team members to secure new business.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations to a range of stakeholders.
- Design solutions and work on tenders to win new business opportunities
- Project manage the entire sales cycle
- Participate in industry events and conventions for networking and to stay on top of industry trends.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Technical Sales Consultant should have:
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven experience tendering for projects
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to understand and explain complex products.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Proven experience in the NSW market
