We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator for a high-profile ~$80m construction project on the Sunshine Coast. This is a site-based role with immediate start, offering excellent salary and the chance to work on a significant build in a growing region.
You will work closely with the Project Manager and site team to drive successful delivery through strong procurement, cost control, subcontract management, and compliance across time, cost, quality, and safety.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage subcontractor and supplier procurement to align with project program Administer purchase orders, invoices, and monthly payment cycles Prepare payment certificates and support head contract progress claims Track budgets, forecasts, variations, and identify/mitigate cost risks Coordinate extensions of time (EOTs) and monitor critical project milestones Handle RFIs, ITPs, inspections, and handover documentation Ensure full subcontractor compliance with WHS, insurances, licences, and statutory requirements Maintain accurate, up-to-date project records and contractual documentation
About you:
Proven experience as a Contract Administrator (or similar) on construction projects (commercial, civil, or major builds preferred) Strong knowledge of procurement processes, cost control, and subcontract administration Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced site environment Confident communicator able to liaise effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams Australian work rights and current White Card (or willingness to obtain)
