About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Network & Telecommunications Engineer to join our Monitoring business unit at Chubb. Based in our Rydalmere office and reporting to Monitoring Technology Group Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining secure, high‐performing networks and telecommunication systems that support our ANZ operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure uninterrupted service by delivering rapid incident resolution and high‐level technical support for complex enterprise network and telephony systems.
* Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, upgrades, backups, patching, and daily health checks to ensure system stability and data integrity.
* Design and deploy scalable, secure network infrastructure that supports evolving business needs and improves overall resilience.
* Administer and optimise core network systems through proactive troubleshooting and technical reviews to reduce downtime and improve performance.
* Provide clear technical updates to stakeholders, contribute to disaster recovery planning, and maintain accurate operational documentation to support continuous improvement.
* Implement and maintain comprehensive maintenance schedules for all network infrastructure including backups, patching, upgrades, and daily health checks, to maintain stability and data integrity.
* Participate in a scheduled on‐call rotation, providing after‐hours support across our 24/7 business operation.
* Mentor peers and contribute to a collaborative, high‐performing team culture.
Technical Expertise
* Hands‐on experience with Cisco technologies including CUCM, UCCX, CUBE.
* Experience with telephony integration platforms including cloud‐based telephony and Microsoft Teams.
* Strong capability configuring and supporting routers, switches, firewalls, and site‐to‐site VPNs.
* Proven troubleshooting skills including root cause analysis and performing critical health checks in high‐pressure environments.
* Working knowledge of SQL/T‐SQL, Windows Server, Active Directory, Citrix, VMware, DHCP, and DNS.

Unrestricted Australian work rights are required for this position Qualifications and Licences
* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
* Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP or ITIL are highly desirable.
* Willingness to obtain and hold an NSW Security Licence.
