About the Opportunity

As the Director Business Support, you are responsible for, under the leadership context as a Multiple Area Leader and will champion innovative ways of working to achieve positive outcomes and be an integral part of a dynamic and forward-thinking division.

About the Role
As Director Information Services Business Support, you will be leading and providing high-level support to the CIO in relation to implementation of IS business objectives and initiatives and undertaking a wide range of business administration coordination activities and process improvements, inclusive of ministerial responses such as financial and procurement compliance, administration of the IS Budget, contracting frameworks, including analysis and reporting on service delivery.
The Director is responsible for the communication and liaison between the Directorate's leadership team and the Corporate Executive in relation to the Directorate's financial budgeting and reporting, operational performance analysis, ministerial workflows and overall workforce management.
Responsibilities
* Leading the provision of resources, expertise and guidance necessary to ensure the Directorate's compliance with Departmental and public sector policy in resource acquisition, IS contracts and procurement for services and management in a complex environment of change.
* Liaising, consulting and collaborating with other senior managers to ensure the coordinated provision of financial analysis to achieve the Directorate's objectives, policies, compliance and procedures.
* Providing expert advice and management to IS Senior Management on the framing of the Directorate's Budget, Projects and associated Cashflows, and facilitating supporting Accounting and Financial reporting.
