Bookkeeper – RSM Australia
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive records and ensuring that client information is up to date. You will act as a trusted resource, answering queries and offering insights into financial data. You'll manage a variety of bookkeeping tasks and provide backup support for administrative duties, contributing to a collaborative culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing account payments
* Perform monthly account reconciliations
* Regularly perform bank reconciliations
* Assist with Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) and Business Activity Statements (BAS)
* Data entry and management
* Maintenance of computer‑based administration file
* Maintenance of client files
* Processing and lodging Superannuation
* Payroll
* Support and mentor junior bookkeeping staff
Qualifications
* 3+ years in a similar role
* Proficient in Xero
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Proven ability to engage clients and foster strong relationships
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
* Intermediate / advanced experience with Microsoft Office packages
