We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our team as we prepare for a range of exciting upcoming events, including Come Alive! The Greatest Showman Circus Spectacular and also for our regular venue operations at Carriageworks. You’ll be part of the Food & Beverage team delivering an exceptional guest experience — preparing and presenting food efficiently while helping keep kitchen operations running smoothly across both touring productions and venue-based events. Expect big crowds, high energy, and plenty of showtime excitement, whether working at Carriageworks or supporting major live productions. What You’ll Be Doing Deliver quality food service Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard in a fast-paced environment Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes Support kitchen operations Assist with food preparation and service during busy show periods Work closely with the kitchen and F&B team to ensure smooth service Maintain kitchen standards Keep kitchen areas clean, organised, and well-presented Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times Assist with stock and setup Support stock rotation and replenishment Assist with kitchen setup, pack down, and equipment organisation where required What We’re Looking For Previous experience as Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role Ability to stay orgsanised and efficient during high-volume service periods Strong teamwork and communication skills A proactive attitude and passion for quality food service Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during the theatre season If you enjoy the pace of live events, building great kitchen teams, and taking your skills on the road with a national production — we’d love to hear from you.
