Our team seeks a compassionate Registered Midwife to join us in providing high-quality patient care on our maternity ward. As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for the delivery of safe and effective clinical care while working collaboratively with our healthcare team.
Responsibilities
* Patient Care: Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate patient care, seeking guidance from senior staff as needed.
* Communication: Promote and contribute to effective communication within the ward and hospital, facilitating teamwork and cooperation.
* Patient Education: Provide education and support to patients, acting as a valuable resource when required.
* Leadership and Development: Support and supervise staff and students, including orientating and preceptoring new employees.
* Achieving Operational Objectives: Contribute to the achievement of operational objectives and goals within the hospital and clinical services department.
Requirements
* Qualifications: Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife or Registered Nurse/Midwife.
* Skills: Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, as well as well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
* Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
* Ongoing Education: Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
Benefits
* Competitive Salary: $76,990 to $101,314 per annum (pro-rata for part-time), plus 11.5% superannuation.
* Casual Rate: $48.55 to $63.89 per hour (inclusive of casual loading), plus 11.5% superannuation.
