About The Role
As Sous Chef you will:
Be second‑in‑charge on shift, supporting the Head Chef and keeping service smooth.
Lead a station (grill, fryer or pass), jump on the tools and keep tickets moving.
Deliver consistent, on‑spec dishes at speed in a high‑volume service.
Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety (temps, labelling, allergen care).
Assist with ordering, stock rotation and waste control.
Help train and support newer team members with a calm, no‑ego approach.
Work a stable 40‑hour roster, Wednesday to Sunday (Mondays and Tuesdays off).
About You
Around 1-2 years' experience in a busy kitchen; burger or grill experience a plus.
Steady under pressure, clear communicator and team‑first mindset.
Love of consistency and "clean as you go".
Basic food‑safety knowledge (we will train) and full Australian work rights.
Availability for nights and weekends (Wednesday to Sunday).
