**About the role**:
Canberra Health Services (CHS) is focussed on the delivery of high quality, effective, person-centred care. It provides acute, sub-acute, primary and community-based health services, to the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and surrounding regions. More information can be found on the CHS website.

- Applications are sought for the 2026 Intern Training Program commencing January 2026. Internship at CHS commences earlier than other jurisdictions to allow delivery of a comprehensive orientation program.
- The 2026 clinical year will commence on 2 February 2026.
- Canberra Health Services recruits Interns to the ACT Network, which includes North Canberra Hospital, Goulburn Base Hospital and Bega South-East Regional Hospital.
- Canberra Hospital, North Canberra Hospital, Goulburn Base Hospital, Bega South-East Regional Hospital, ACT Pathology, Mental Health ACT, Capital Regional Cancer Service, Rehabilitation and Aged Care Services and Obstetrics and Gynaecology are teaching facilities of the Australian National University Medical School and the ANU Rural Clinical School. Canberra is also the home of many leading research organisations.
