KU Children's Services is excited to announce the opening of a new service in Frankston, Victoria on the grounds of the Monash University Peninsula Campus. The service is a long day care service open 50 weeks per year.

**The Role**:
We are looking for a **permanent, full time **Service Director to innovate, inspire, motivate and lead this new service. You will bring your sound pedagogical knowledge, experience of developing and maintaining relationships with children and families, rostering, mentoring, daily routines, policy implementation whilst building a harmonious working environment. This role will have a mixture of time on and off the floor and will be supported by the dedicated service administrator as well as the Education and Quality team and wider support services available across the organisation.

**Of course, you will need**:

- Australian working rights
- Previous directing experience
- A current Victorian Working With Children Check + Teachers Registration
- An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
- Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Working knowledge of the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF)
