As a Service Scheduler, you will be responsible for the overall planning of service appointments, alongside providing general support to the service department as required.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Schedule service appointments in-line with workshop capacity.
* Estimates time needed for each service job order, buffer times regarding unexpected services and parts needs.
* Manage customer and vehicle data.
* Monitor and assist with open repair orders with Advisors including parts back orders to efficiently book in vehicles.
* Support frontline Advisors as required.
* Manage loan vehicle bookings and fleet management.
* Proactively contacts customers (e.g. outbound calls).
* Prepares parts orders in preparation.
* Informs the Service Advisor in case of postponement of fixed parts delivery / fixed service appointment.
* Provides leave cover for Service Advisors when required.
* Assists with CRM duties as required.
Key Requirements for this position include:
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry.
* Proficiency using Microsoft programs (Word, Excel & Outlook) as well as internal DMS (currently Titan) and PAG IT systems.
* Exceptional written and verbal etiquette.
* Able to manage large amounts of data with high accuracy.
* Proficient in multitasking and prioritising workload.
* Impeccable personal presentation.
