Role
As an Electronics Blasting Technician – Underground, you will support, train and collaborate on Electronic Initiation Systems across our valued sites.
Reporting to the Electronic Lead, this role offers an opportunity for experienced shotfirers, supervisors or mining engineers to advance their skills. While you will work in the underground footprint, time spent there is not required to be all the time.
Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of training on-site for Dyno's Electronic Initiation System
* Provide support and training to regional sites regarding the introduction and use of Electronic Initiation Systems
* Manage all operational aspects of electronic detonator conversions and trials at allocated sites
* Lead demonstrations and training sessions to boost efficiency and results for customers
* Engage appropriate resources and assist where required, ensuring smooth operations
Qualifications
* Excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills (including a Cert IV in Training & Assessment)
* Experience with DigiShotPlus.4G is highly regarded
* Shotfirer's License, Dangerous Goods Security Card, and National Police Clearance
* Solid experience in underground charge‐up: development and production blasting
* Extensive blasting‐related experience, especially with electronic initiation systems
* Demonstrated understanding of drill & blast technology
