Heart of Australia is seeking to appoint a Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our fabulous team.

The role
As a Marketing and Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting and implementing key initiatives to enhance the brand and presence of Heart of Australia with various communities.
This role is permanent full-time based at our Chelmer Head Officer and may require some travel to our locations. The key responsibilities are, but not limited to:
* Maintain core Heart of Australia marketing activities including social medial management across 4 platforms to increase engagement
* Content/story gathering for social, digital and print communication assets
* Prepare Heart of Australia marketing assets including newsletters, brochures, posters, fliers and videos for both internal and external audiences
* Manage website content ensuring content is up to date and accurate
* Manage and coordinate community events and conferences as required and provide post event analysis
* Coordinate the annual Heart of Australia Gala Evening
* Provide reports and recommendation on applied marketing campaigns for optimisation of current processes.
About you
You will be degree qualified in Communications and Marketing or equivalent with a minimum of 1-2 years experience. Ideally, you will have the following:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* High levels of attention to detail
* Proven end-to-end management of projects
* Proficient with social media platforms
* Competent with using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Canva and Wordpress
* Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Flexibility to travel on occasion if required
