Sustainable Infrastructure System (SIS) is a leading Australian manufacturer of world class GFRP [Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer] composites. Adelaide headquartered, SIS delivers innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions to a variety of clients, primarily government department alliances with Tier one construction companies. We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Project Manager/Engineer to join our team in Adelaide.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
* Communicate with clients, suppliers, and major stakeholders to ensure project success.
* Provide technical and commercial expertise to support project delivery.
* Administer project contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Ensure that all project risks are identified, managed and mitigated.
* Utilize knowledge of composites to support project development.
Qualifications and Requirements
* The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within budget, in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
The following would be highly regarded
* A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry, particularly with Tier one construction companies or government departments.
* Experience with contract administration; identifying and negotiating variations, EOTs, providing all relevant notifications on time, preparing claims and as per the contract.
* Previous experience in composites.
* A demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure.
* A relevant degree in civil / structural engineering, project management or a related field. Class 2A honours or above, would be a bonus.
