The Lakes Estate Residents' Association Inc. is responsible for the daily administration and management of the Lakes Estate Retirement Village. We are seeking candidates with excellent management, financial acumen, and transferable skills and experience.
This is an independent living retirement village and not an aged care facility.
The Association's Committee of Management is seeking a manager with good organisational and planning skills who is highly motivated and self-driven. This role will report to the Committee of Management.
The Role:
Your role is to manage the day-to-day administration of an independent living facility with a hands-on management style. You will be responsible for all aspects of running The Lakes Estate Retirement Village, including office administration, financial management, asset management, supplier management, and resident and family interactions. Essentially, you are like the CEO, accountable to the Committee of Management, with opportunities to positively impact residents' lives.
You will be expected to implement best practices and strive for service excellence.

* Experience and skills in organising and planning
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Efficient and effective time management
* Strong crisis management skills
* Competency in accounts, reconciliation, and MYOB
* Good interpersonal skills for interacting with residents, families, staff, and suppliers
* Ability to obtain a police check
Highly Desirable:
* Qualifications and/or experience in business or facility management
* Understanding of operations within an independent living retirement village
* Knowledge of legislative and compliance requirements related to retirement villages
