 
        
        **Revenue Officer**
NSW Government Department - Rozelle
ASAP start - 3-month initial contract - multiple roles available
Pay rate: $34.40 per hour + super
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Play a key role providing excellent customer service to members of the public for charges related to services provided 
- Act as the first point of contact to the department for service fees and charges 
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring the experience is as smooth and efficient as possible to help support members of the public, which for some is during a difficult time 
- Assist in managing the revenue collection process including billing according to departmental policies and procedures. 
- Provide administrative and clerical support and maintain records as per departmental policy directives. 
- Prepare timely and accurate reports.
**Selection criteria**:
- Demonstrated commitment in providing a high level of customer service 
- Ability to deal with stressful and emotional situations, whilst being highly motivated and enthusiastic. 
- Ability to remain calm whilst responding to calls and reports whilst ensuring vital information is captured and recorded 
- Data Entry Skills - input data into records systems with a high level of sustained accuracy and in a timely manner. 
- Capability to use a wide range of computer hardware, software and electronic systems. 
- Basic to immediate Microsoft Excel Skills. 
- Self-driven, adaptable, resilient and be able to use initiative to make sound decisions. 
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members 
- Previous call centre experience
