The Role
ABC NewsRadio is seeking a skilled Journalist to join its dynamic live rolling news team.
The Job
Prepare, produce, and present compelling audio content for national audiences.
Contribute to editorial discussions and pitch engaging stories that reflect Australia's diversity.
Research, set up, write and conduct pre-recorded and live interviews.
Write news stories and edit tape items for broadcast.
Stay abreast of major national and international news events.

About You
You'll have:
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
A passion for delivering breaking news and chasing down the big stories of the day.
The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
A strong broadcast voice.
Good editorial, organisational and communication skills.
The ability to work collaboratively in a small team and to contribute to a positive work environment.
Availability to work a variety of shifts across the day, including on weekends.
