CATERING ASSISTANT

About the role
Applications are being sought for a permanent part-time or casual Catering Assistant in our catering department, working 3-4 days per week (around 25 hours per week, potentially more). Based in Port Douglas and reporting to the Catering Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
* Daily food preparation for our vessels
* Basic kitchen hand duties
* Food delivery to our vessels
* Adhering to Food Safety practices
* Maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene
About you
* Be an early riser for start time of 5am and weekend work may apply
* Sound knowledge of Food Safety practices
* Experience in a fast past kitchen environment is desirable but not essential
* Hold a current Australian C class drivers Licence (auto at min)
