This will involve the coordination and management of varying types of projects, including the installation and commissioning of fixtures, signage and equipment. Coordination with the Landlord’s team; the HJ’s Development Team and the HJ’s Operations Team will be crucial for successful delivery. Required outcomes are quality facilities delivered on time, and within an approved capital budget. Successful delivery of nominated refurbishment projects. This will need a seamless delivery process, ensuring that projects are within budget and on time, with solid communication on project progress back to the Operations Team. Contractor management will be key to the successful delivery in this role, with an expectation that project defects are completed within an agreed time frame. Assisting the Development Team in the delivery of smaller projects, typically of a roll-out nature. Assisting the Development Team in preparing cost information for future projects to facilitate the capex approval process. Consideration to be given to WHS aspects on all approved capital projects, with safety plans and processes established and agreed prior to the commencement of work. Contractor management and the monitoring of contractors’ performance. This will include tender and contract administration and inducting new contractors as required. Participation in the post implementation review of projects. This will include analysing the areas of the project that were successful, and areas that require change as part of the broader team. Making recommendations for process improvement and cost efficiency, seeking approval for these initiatives and then implementing.
