Position Overview
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Proactive Service Team Lead will guide, mentor, and assist the Proactive Services Team in providing cleaning, trolley collection, and waste management services for the Orange and Orange North, NSW stores. This role involves leading a team of approximately 30 members and acting as the central point of contact for Store Managers in case of escalation.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of 30 members, collaborating with the services department to ensure consistent delivery of essential services such as trolley availability, safety, food safety, cleaning, hygiene, and waste management.
Create effective work schedules/rosters and ensure team punctuality.
Manage procurement of all necessary supplies within budgetary limits.
Evaluate team members based on key metrics, providing constructive feedback to recognize strengths and identify development opportunities.
Foster and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including department managers, customers, and local community members.
Act as the central point of contact for Store Managers in case of escalation and maintain a uniform presence in the store.
Collaborate harmoniously with other store departments to cultivate a positive experience for all team members and customers.
Your Profile
Experience in leadership/management.
A keen eye for cleanliness and attention to detail.
Confidence to engage and form partnerships with Department Managers and the Store Leadership Team to synchronize schedules & deadlines.
Organisational skills to ensure your team always has the necessary equipment and consumables needed to work safely and effectively.
Comfortable working within a regulated framework (Food Safety, industrial regulations, code of conduct, etc.).
Comfortability with cleaning responsibilities such as shop floor, fridges, freezers, carparks, etc.
Experience in a leadership capacity or aspects of leadership (desirable).

Working Hours
Full-time (40 hours per week) Monday-Sunday. Flexible availability across early mornings, days, and late nights including typical week patterns such as Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday.
