North Coast Engineering and Mechanical – Cairns QLD
We're seeking an enthusiastic 1st year apprentice boilermaker to join our team.
You will gain experience in a wide variety of work, including:
Heavy equipment repair
Marine maintenance
Mining and quarry maintenance
Line boring
To succeed in this application, you will need to be committed to learning, have an interest in welding and fabrication, and possess the following:
Completion of Secondary Schooling
A current QLD's driver's license and own transport
Understanding of basic hand tooling
Punctual and have a good attendance record
Be motivated and have a positive attitude
Relevant work experience (highly desirable)
Strong commitment to safety
The ability to pass a medical and regular drug & alcohol screening tests
Genuine interest in a career within the welding and fabrication industry
Pre-apprenticeship qualification Certificate II in Engineering (Heavy Fabrication) is highly desirable
