The Opportunity
The Make Safe Officer will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the Make Safe projects. The role will involve programming, monitoring and controlling all aspects of individual make safe insurance jobs to achieve a quality claim and repair outcome for the benefit of all stakeholders.
Main duties and responsibilities
* Liaise with insurance clients, homeowner customers, adjusters and trades people to ensure a quality make safe and repair outcome.
* Schedule appointments and coordinate subcontractors, supervisors and technicians.
* Manage project budgets, including allocation of work orders to subcontractors.
* Ensure all administrative tasks are completed in accordance with contractual requirements.
* Preparation of project documentation.
* Preparation of invoicing and collation of handover documents including all required compliance certificates.
* Assisting with make safe and repair purchasing.
* Providing customer service assistance to clients.
* Assisting to arrange and manage trades.
* Managing a portfolio of make safe and repair claims.
* Ensure Make Safe KPIs and standards are achieved.
* Provide support and guidance for team members.
