About the role
Boutique Corporate Services' is a recruitment firm assisting our client employ an experienced Tender Manager (Bid) to join our client's team in the Southern Gold Coast, Queensland. This full-time role, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic organisation and contribute to our ongoing success combined with an opportunity to progress to a more senior manager in the role.
What you'll be doing:
* Manage the entire tender and bid process, from initial review to final submission in collaboration with senior management
* Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure bids are responsive to client needs
* Coordinate the bids with the branch staff, delegating tasks and ensuring timely delivery of all bid components
* Develop winning tender strategies and content, including technical solutions, commercial terms, and pricing
* Proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the tender process
* Continuously seek to improve the tender process and implement best practices
* Combine all bid/tender information so it appears it has come from one person
* Visiting branches around Australia from time to time.
What we're looking for
* 2+ years' experience in a Tender Manager or Bid Manager role, preferably within the waste/recycling industry
* Strong understanding of the estimating process and project delivery
* A good understanding of operational processes
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate
* Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional projects
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills
* Familiarity with tender management software and tools
