Job Description:
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a critical role in leading our team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business objectives. You will oversee daily store operations, supervise a team of staff, and develop their skills and knowledge to ensure they can provide outstanding customer experiences.
You will work closely with the Store Manager to identify areas for improvement, implement changes, and measure outcomes. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will enable you to address any challenges that arise, ensuring that the store operates efficiently and effectively.
In this role, you will be responsible for promoting a culture of safety, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures, and maintaining a safe and inclusive work environment. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders, providing clear and concise information to ensure seamless operations.
To succeed in this role, you must be a results-driven leader with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will be required to lift, bend, climb, and drive safely, so a valid driver's license and physical fitness are essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous supervisory experience or readiness for that next step
* Demonstrated previous retail or trade experience, including sales, wholesale, and/or workshop operations experience
* Ideal mechanical/automotive parts knowledge
* Flexible availability and a valid driver's license
* The physical capacity to perform the duties of the role, including handling products of a heavy nature
