Prestige Universal Mining Pumps are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineering Technicians to join their team in Kalgoorlie WA. Duties for MECHANICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN role include:
Utilize your extensive experience and Diploma-level qualifications in mechanical engineering to select appropriate tools and equipment required for various tasks.
Take a leadership role in assembling and installing mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools, controls and hydraulic power systems with precision and accuracy.
Leverage your expertise to estimate material costs, quantities, and machine requirements, contributing to effective project budgeting and resource allocation.
Oversee comprehensive field laboratory tests, ensuring reliable and accurate results.
Apply advanced analytical skills to conduct repairs and rebuilds of mechanical components and equipment.
Demonstrate leadership by organizing and supervising the inspection and maintenance of machinery and plant equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Uphold meticulous standards, ensuring that all designs and finished work meet specifications, regulations and contract provisions to achieve client satisfaction and project success.
Take leadership role in lubrication and cleaning of machine and equipment.
Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and blueprint while assisting others.
Able to follow safety protocols.
Skills / Abilities / Qualifications
Diploma level qualification in mechanical field highly desirable or employment experience in absence of qualification.
Two (2) years of relevant employment experience required.
Good knowledge of hand tools and equipment.
The ability to work in a team environment.
Well-developed communication skills.
Salary range: $75,******,000 annually
