Baywood’s ongoing growth has created an exciting opportunity for a full-time, experienced Sawmill Operator to join our dedicated hardwood sawmill team. Reporting directly to the Greenmill Production Manager, you’ll play a key role in daily operations alongside a team of skilled and committed sawmill operators. Together, you'll work to meet production targets in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Our operations are further supported by expert saw doctors and maintenance technicians, ensuring equipment runs smoothly and efficiently to keep production moving.

Key Responsibilities will include:
* Experienced in the efficient and safe operation of sawmilling equipment including bench, band saw, side edger and primary breakdown saw
* Understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve processes
* Attend daily pre-start meetings
* Comply with all safety policies and processes to ensure your safety and the safety of others
