The Darling Downs South West Region is seeking a candidate who is evidence-informed, dynamic, and accountable in achieving improvement through early childhood partnerships and programs.
The Partnerships Facilitator, Early Childhood, will be responsible for enabling services, schools, and communities to enhance engagement, participation, transitions, and wellbeing in the early years.
The successful applicant will collaborate with community leaders to develop and implement place-based plans through effective partnerships with early childhood education and care services, funded programs, schools, and communities.
Travel and overnight stays are required.The Darling Downs South West Region, located on the western slope of the Great Dividing Range in Queensland, spans approximately 480,000 km².
It offers dynamic work environments and an affordable, community-oriented lifestyle with access to essential facilities and diverse experiences for singles and families.About The RoleAs the Partnerships Facilitator, Early Childhood, you will:Develop effective partnerships and support communities to implement place-based approaches that improve outcomes for children and families, based on early childhood data.Collaborate with stakeholders and partners to plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate early childhood initiatives to enhance regional performance.Responsibilities IncludeImplement early childhood initiatives focused on increasing participation and engagement of all children in development and learning pathways, ensuring quality transitions that lead to successful educational outcomes and wellbeing.Access and analyze various information sources, including economic and demographic data, sector performance data, regional development plans, local government planning documents, and relevant research to inform planning and decision-making.Prepare project plans, reports, submissions, briefs, and correspondence to advise the Manager and ensure timely achievement of outcomes.Identify local priorities, address emerging issues, and trends to build community capacity and improve performance for optimal outcomes for children.Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance early years priorities.How to ApplyAttach a brief resume with contact details for two referees familiar with your relevant work experience.Provide written responses to the following questions (each no more than 500 words):Share an example of a successful partnership strategy you implemented, including how you tailored communication to different audiences and circumstances, whether the desired outcome was achieved, and what you learned.Describe how you planned and delivered an initiative that improved outcomes aligned with organizational goals, based on data and evidence.
