The position is in a live-in staff rostered home working within a therapeutic model of care. You will provide direct care to Young People in consultation with the key care team.· You will have a demonstrated understanding of trauma informed therapeutic care to assist in deescalating and responding to critical incidents with the young person· You will have experience in dealing with Children and Young People (various ages from 0-18yo) with 'complex needs and behaviours' and the ability to therapeutically manage these behaviours· You will implement, monitor and review individual therapeutic and goal plans· You will be available to work a 24/7 rotating roster which may include days, evenings, sleepovers and weekendsRemuneration: SCHADS Level 3, $46.69 - $50.06 /per hour inclusive of casual leave loading. This position is Casual.About youYou will have substantial experience and demonstrated knowledge in a similar role with the social and community services sector.You will have training and qualifications in youth/social work or community services.· You will have the ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with child/young people and adults in different situations.
