Communications Manager Melbourne | Full-Time | FMCG About the Company Our client is a growing FMCG business with a strong portfolio of consumer brands across retail and eCommerce channels. With continued product innovation and national expansion, they are looking to strengthen their brand voice and reputation through strategic, integrated communications. The Role Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Communications Manager will lead external and internal communications strategy across brand campaigns, product launches and corporate messaging. This is a hands-on role suited to a commercially aware communications professional who understands retail cycles, media engagement and brand storytelling in a competitive FMCG environment. Key Responsibilities Brand & PR Develop and execute integrated communications strategies aligned to brand plans Lead media relations, PR activity and influencer engagement Drive brand storytelling across earned, owned and retail channels Campaign & Product Launch Communications Support new product launches with integrated communication plans Align messaging across retail, digital, social and trade channels Work closely with brand and sales teams to ensure consistency Internal & Corporate Communications Manage internal communications and key stakeholder messaging Support leadership with corporate announcements and brand positioning Protect and strengthen brand reputation Agency & Stakeholder Management Manage PR and creative agency relationships Oversee budgets and measure campaign effectiveness About You 5–8 years’ communications experience within FMCG, retail or consumer brands Strong PR and media network experience Experience delivering integrated campaign communications Confident working cross-functionally with brand, sales and product teams Commercially aware and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
