Kitchen Assistant—Pot Wash
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Kitchen Assistant in our production kitchen at St Vincent's Private Hospital, Darlinghurst Campus. The kitchen produces more than 60,000 meals per month and is staffed by a team of approximately 40 professionals. You will be directly managed by the kitchen supervisor and report to the Head Chef.
Your responsibilities
* Cleaning and washing up duties
* Operating two large commercial dishwashers
* Correct application of cleaning chemicals
* Following procedures for stock and equipment
* Adhering to a daily time schedule
Your skills and experience
* Experience in a teamwork environment
* Awareness of WHS responsibilities
* Ability to follow instructions and food‐safety principles
* Attention to detail
* Previous experience in washing rooms/cleaning
* Time‐management skills
* Good communication skills
* Flexibility to cover shifts over a 7‐day rotation, early mornings, afternoons, and evenings
