Reporting Analyst Job Description
Randstad is currently seeking a skilled Reporting Analyst to join their team for an initial 6 month contract with potential extension.
This role is based in South Bank, Brisbane and requires a candidate who can work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
* Rebuild approximately 60 existing reports across Workforce, Productivity, and Payroll Process domains using Power BI.
* Translate and adapt existing logics within the report to the new data structures.
* Ensure accuracy and compliance by performing data reconciliation and implementing row-level security.
* Improve data availability by identifying and addressing gaps.
* Maintain documentation of all rebuilt reports, including data mappings, logic transformations, and security.
* Demonstrate an understanding of the broader data warehouse environment to ensure consistency and integration with existing BI infrastructure.
* Support business-as-usual (BAU) reporting and BI maintenance activities where required.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven expertise in Power BI, Microsoft Report Builder (SSRS), and SQL.
* Strong proficiency in DAX and developing scalable, performance-optimised data models.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve data challenges effectively.
* Experienced in supporting BAU BI operations, including troubleshooting and user queries.
* Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver under time constraints.
Benefits:

* Hourly rate: $60-$65 per hour + super.
* Contract length: 6 months initial.
