About the Role
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will use customer‐facing skills to deliver an exceptional service and ensure Australia's supply of blood products.
Responsibilities
* Greet and interview potential donors to assess eligibility and suitability to donate.
* Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests.
* Set up machines, various tubing and collection bags.
* Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets.
* Coach and guide other team members in the blood collection process.
* Manage adverse donor reactions by providing instructions and physical assistance.
* Monitor donors post‐donation and assist them to rebook for their next donation.
Requirements
* Occasional lifting between 9–22.7 kg.
* Frequent standing, walking, and bending while setting up and packing down machines and blood products.
* Completion of a Diploma of Nursing (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Saturday, including weekends, afternoon shifts, and public holidays.
* Own vehicle and driver's licence.
