ABOUT YOU Proven experience as a Survey Draftsperson or in a similar role. Proficiency in using AutoCAD, and other relevant drafting software. Strong understanding of surveying principles, terminology, and data interpretation. Ability to read and interpret field notes, sketches, and survey data. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A relevant degree or certification in drafting, civil engineering, geomatics, or a related field is a plus. Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency. ABOUT THE ROLE Create detailed survey drawings using CAD software or other related drafting software. Draw boundary surveys, topographic surveys, strata/subdivision plans, and construction setouts. Work with raw survey data collected in the field (total stations, GPS, 3D scanners). Convert field data into accurate and readable technical drawings. Assist surveyors by preparing pre-survey plans and updating plans after fieldwork. Draft plans required for land subdivisions, community titles, and strata developments (common in NSW).
