Chemtronics Biomedical Engineering, part of Cabrini Technology Group, currently has a vacancy for a Service Engineer to join its Townsville team. The successful applicant will use his/her skills to troubleshoot, repair and perform scheduled maintenance on a range of electro-medical and gas therapy equipment.
The successful applicant will possess the necessary skills to diagnose and repair faulty electronic equipment.
Responsibilities include the minimisation of operational downtime through preventative maintenance and servicing; and working to ensure the contractual obligations and relevant Australian Standards are met.
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Previous hands-on experience in repair and service of medical/electronic/electrical equipment is mandatory. Experience with gas therapy equipment will be very highly regarded, but training will be provided where necessary.
* Tertiary, technical or trade qualification in an Electronic, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering discipline;
* A current Queensland restricted electrical licence or the ability to qualify for one is essential;
* Strong PC and MS Office literacy; ability to enter work performed into a database in a timely manner;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Self-motivation and a commitment to continuous improvement;
* An organised and pro-active approach to work;
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well, with minimal supervision.
* A current non-restricted QLD driver's licence;
