Attention candidates from Sales or Mechanical Engineering/Trade background, exposure to both, and knowledge of Mechanical Drives Industry/Services

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales & Service Business Development Manager to join our team.

This role will be based in Brisbane.

This role will be concentrating on the service side of our business with the tasks, including but not limited to:

* Generate new business leads for our Service Centres, and foster current customer relationships
* Promoting the roll-out of new offerings and value propositions
* Performing all required sales activities for the assigned territory
* Evaluating customer requirements and developing a solution to meet those requirements
* Preparing and submitting offers to customers
* Negotiating offers with customers
* Be the customer advocate within the Flender organisation, taking responsibility for all customer activities ensuring a timely and positive outcome
* Perform sales administration tasks such as forecasting and reporting, pipeline management, follow-ups, CRM management etc.
* Managing any escalations within customer accounts
* Supporting customer remotely and onsite, providing 1st level user support in case of arising issues.
* Supporting pre-and/or post sales technical product advice for development, implementation, and operation of customer solutions.

Skills required:

* Strong customer service skills
* Ability to understand customer's needs and translate them to technical solutions/ business offers
* Understanding and experience with the mining industry
* Strong mechanical aptitude preferably in industrial gear boxes
* Good knowledge of the MS Office suite
* At least intermediate user IT skills and experience with CRM
* Team-player
* Adaptability
* Willingness to travel extensively

We will consider a relocation package (within Australia) for a right candidate.

Offering good salary base + 20% bonus (based on performance) + 12% super + TOT (car) valued at $20K pa.
