The Grade 2 casual OT will be responsible for providing Occupational Therapy services to in-patients, across acute or sub-acute in-patient wards.
This role will include:
* Provision of person-centred, evidence-based care
* Collaborationacross multi-disciplinary teams to support achievement of patient-focused goals
* Engagement in a robust professional development program and supervision
* Participation in continuous quality improvement activities
* Supervision of students and junior staff
The role may also provide opportunities to work across other services of the hospital as required including in-patient mental health unit and outpatients (renal unit).
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist with:
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with eligibility for membership of Occupational Therapy Australia
* Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency as an Occupational Therapist
* Positive attitude supporting others and expanding their own skills and experience
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in hospital-based services
* Availability for casual hours on either a weekday and/or a weekend.
