We're currently recruiting for multiple Senior Estimators for our client, a leading tier-one construction and infrastructure contractor specialising in large-scale building projects, complex facilities, and multidisciplinary infrastructure works.
Based in Sydney, these are 3-4 month (negotiable) contract roles, with potential for extension, working across tenders for Building, Construction, and Services across defence, health, data centres, and related industries.
Please note that these roles are fully onsite and would require relocation to Sydney.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Lead tender development, coordinating multidisciplinary inputs and guiding mid-level estimators
* Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for building or services scope
* Conduct quantity take-offs and review drawings and specifications
* Support development of construction methodologies and pricing strategies
* Maintain strong document control throughout the tender lifecycle
* Coordinate with project managers, bid teams, engineers and subcontractors
* Contribute to risk reviews, analysis and tender approval processes
* Assist in developing competitive, compliant and high-quality tender submissions
Skills and Requirements
* Prior experience working within a Tier 1 head-contract estimating team
* Demonstrated exposure to large-scale building projects (ideally $500M+) within infrastructure, building, defence, health, data centres, commercial or related sectors
* Proven experience in either building estimation (structural, architectural and finishes) or services estimation (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire or specialist systems)
