We have a fantastic role in our Queensland Environment and Planning team for a capable and motivated Geospatial Consultant who is keen to take their career to the next stage. Our team has a strong capability from project planning and feasibility, design and construction on a wide range of projects across both Queensland and Australia. You will play an integral part in a team that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients across the built environment, transport, land and water, energy and government sectors.

Our current committed and projected workload provides a unique and specific opportunity for a Geospatial Consultant to join the team in our Brisbane or Mackay office. The role offers diverse, interesting and challenging work with the opportunity to make your mark in a consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Support project spatial needs including WebGIS, Cartographic map production, spatial analysis and information management
* Design and implement spatial solutions using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise tailored to project needs
* Support the design and deployment of spatial tools, dashboards and web-based applications.
* Collaborate with geospatial teams across Australia and New Zealand to develop, test and scale innovative spatial solutions
* Collaborate with non-geospatial professionals through project work with intent to understand their workflows and seek optimisations or applications of GIS to their disciplines
* Develop and support automated geospatial workflows and data transformation processes using Python and FME
* Provide technical leadership and guidance on efficient geospatial workflows on complex multi-disciplinary projects
* Contribute to strategic planning and capability growth within the geospatial team
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
* Bachelor's degree in Spatial Science, Geography, Geospatial Engineering or similar field
* 2-8 years' experience working with Geographic Information Systems preferably in consultancy
* A strong professional work ethic and commitment to health and safety for yourself, your team, subcontractors and clients
* Experience in map production, spatial data analysis and digital map creation using mapping platforms
* Exposure to automation tools such as Model Builder, FME, and Python
* Proficiency in ESRI's ArcGIS tools including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
