About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced PLM Application Developer to configure, customise, install and support implementation, integration and deployment of Windchill across the organization. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, deep understanding of Windchill Architecture, Object Model and Type & Attributes.
Principal Accountabilities
* Develop, configure & implement Windchill customisation and enhancements
* Create new workflows, lifecycles, attributes, UI changes and business rules to meet business expectations
* Develop integration using APIs and middleware
* Troubleshoot server issues, performance bottlenecks and customisation defects
* Support Windchill upgrades, patching, performance tuning and migration activities
* Troubleshoot system issues and provide ongoing technical support
* Create and maintain technical documentation
* Actively engage and contribute to a project environment to provide technical SME advice, contribute towards project outcomes, solution designing, lead and support project delivery and 'Transition to Support' activities.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* PTC Windchill Developer Certification (Optional but Preferred)
* 4+ years of experience as a Windchill Developer or Application Developer (similar role).
* Prior experience in customising COTS applications using vendor supplied APIs.
* Strong debugging skills using logs and method server traces.
* Possess Agile methodology skill sets (Scrum and Kanban) and ability to use BAE toolsets (Jira and Confluence) to plan and deliver technical changes via sprint activities.
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Possess strong analytical, problem‑solving and proven time‑management skills with focus on good customer service and stakeholder management.
* Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
