Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Events Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of internal and external festivals and events programs.


This role requires a strong background in event management, leadership skills, analytical and creative thinking, excellent organisational skills, ability to work under pressure, marketing experience, and flexible working hours including weekends and after-hours work.


The ideal candidate will have the ability to translate ideas into actions, have a good understanding of procedures, processes, policies, and legislation required to manage diverse events, and hold current First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Check.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, coordinate, program, and implement large-scale events

* Lead cross-functional teams to deliver festival and events programs

* Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors

* Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient event delivery

* Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies

* Maintain accurate records and reports on event attendance, engagement, and feedback

* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and compliance requirements



Requirements

* 3+ years of experience in event management or related field

* Proven track record of delivering successful events and achieving goals

* Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends

* Current First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Check

* Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field
