Part Time Veterinary Receptionist – Specialist Referral Practice

We are currently searching for a dedicated receptionist to become an integral part of our esteemed veterinary and nursing team on a permanent part‐time basis. This position offers a 9.5‐hour shift on a Friday, with the possibility of more days in the future. Notably, weekend shifts are not a requirement for this role.

Responsibilities include:
* Serve as the welcoming face and voice of the clinic.
* Handle client calls and inquiries with professionalism.
* Warmly greet patients and their caregivers upon arrival.
* Coordinate and schedule appointments efficiently.
* Process payments and generate invoices for caregivers.
* Ensure patient comfort by providing gentle reassurance and treats.
* Maintain an organised and up‐to‐date daily schedule.
* Assist caregivers with pet insurance claim submissions.
* Triage patients for timely care as expertise in ophthalmology grows.
* Foster a calming environment to alleviate stress for both pets and their owners.
