Field Service Technician Role
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Field Service Technician. As a key member of our service delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless installation, repair and maintenance of our network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cabling installation (copper and fibre) including jointing, jumpering and splicing
* Customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)
* Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE
About You
We are seeking both experienced candidates as well as those with transferable skills from a communication cabling or electrical background. A large part of this role is working in customers' premises, so it will also be important that you have exceptional customer service skills and can display honesty and integrity while being self-managed and motivated.
You should be proficient in MS Office applications, specifically Word and Excel. You must have strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
