About the role
Warilla Physiotherapy is seeking a passionate and experienced Remedial Massage Therapist to join our team in Warilla, NSW 2528. This is a casual position, offering flexibility to work around your schedule. As a Remedial Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive natural therapies and alternative medicine services to our clients.
What you'll be doing
* Conducting thorough client assessments to identify areas of concern and develop personalised treatment plans
* Performing remedial massage techniques to alleviate muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote overall well-being.
* Providing guidance and advice to clients on aftercare and ongoing self-care strategies
* Maintaining detailed client records and documentation in line with professional standards
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists and exercise physiologist, to ensure a holistic approach to client care
* Upholding the highest standards of hygiene and safety within the clinic environment
What we're looking for
* A minimum of 1 year experience as a Remedial Massage Therapist, preferably within a healthcare or natural therapies setting
* Completion of a recognised Diploma in Remedial Massage or equivalent qualification
* Excellent anatomy and physiology knowledge, with the ability to identify and address client concerns
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for providing exceptional client-centred care
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and industry trends
* A current first aid certificate and valid working rights in Australia
