Job details
* Software Engineers also known as Development Experts have experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by their team.
* Siebel Development Experts engage in the design, development and maintenance of applications built on the Siebel CRM platform, customising the system to meet specific business requirements of high quality while enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.
* This role involves collaborating with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance CRM solutions, ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise systems.
* The role solves highly complex problems, exercise a considerable degree of independence and undertakes a technical leadership role, with work performed under the general guidance of senior staff.
Key duties and responsibilities
The key duties of Siebel Developers include but are not limited to the following:
* Development in Siebel applications including Siebel configuration, Integration, Workflows, eScripting and TBUI.
* Develop data migration and data load packages using Enterprise Integration Manager.
* Prepare technical design solutions to meet business requirements.
* Perform unit testing, code reviews to ensure quality of delivered product.
* Perform System administration and code packaging tasks where required.
* Communicate technical concepts to senior and non-technical staff in a cohesive and digestible manner.
* Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload.
* Additional duties may be assigned as needed
Technical skills
* Siebel TBUI
* Siebel Workflows
* Siebel Scripting
* Siebel Configuration
* Siebel Integration (EAI) and OpenUI frameworks
* Technical knowledge of Siebel architecture, related technologies including Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle Policy Automation, and deployment activities
* Understanding of Siebel Oracle stack technology
