Senior Accountant Role
Job Overview:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to business owners and SMEs across various industries.
Responsibilities:
* Develop strong client relationships and provide expert guidance on accountancy and tax matters.
* Process quarterly VAT returns, management accounts, year-end accounts, and account reconciliations.
* Attend client meetings, plan research, and be the main point of contact for assigned clients.
* Deal with Inland Revenue and Companies House queries, writing necessary letters/documentation following in-house branding.
* Assist with the management and training of the Accounts Senior.
* Provide analysis and forecast financial reporting, advising on potential issues, trends, and improvements.
* Assist with tax return compliance process, including collating, preparing, submitting, and reviewing individual and company tax returns.
Requirements:
* Expert knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
