Group 10 is looking for an experienced ITAM Consultant to join our growing FinOps and Software Asset Management practice. You\'ll work closely with major government clients to help them get control of their software estates—ensuring compliance, reducing risk, and delivering cost savings. This is a client-facing consulting role with a strong focus on licensing, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
* Manage software assets across multiple vendors, platforms, and environments
* Analyse usage data and entitlement records to identify compliance gaps and optimisation opportunities
* Produce high-quality client deliverables including licensing reports, compliance registers, SLAs, and SOPs
* Review contracts and procurement data to validate entitlement and risk exposure
* Collaborate with client stakeholders to embed effective SAM and ITAM processes aligned with industry standards
* Mentor colleagues, share knowledge, and contribute to internal Group 10 initiatives
* Support pre-sales and service improvement activities as part of a national FinOps capability
What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
* Experience managing software licences across multiple vendors (e.g. Microsoft, Adobe, VMware)
* Strong understanding of licensing models, usage rights, and compliance obligations
* Familiarity with ITAM/SAM tools (e.g. ServiceNow, SCCM, Snow, Flexera)
* Good grasp of ICT environments, including cloud, virtualisation, and end-user computing
* Experience interpreting contracts, procurement records, and entitlement documentation
* Excellent analytical skills - comfortable working with large, complex data sets
* Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to simplify licensing complexity for non-technical stakeholders
* Professional, client-facing presence and the ability to build trust across departments
* Any ITAM/SAM certifications (e.g. CSAM, CITAM, ITIL) would be highly regarded
Security Requirements
This role requires Australian Citizenship and the ideally a Federal Government Security Clearance. Preference may be given to applicants with an active clearance.
